So I just turned thirteen recently on September 12 and I honestly don't feel any different. I was supposed to post this on my birthday, but due to the hectic schedule and distractions, I wasn't able to.
My birthday was spectacular, I got to plant a tree and all that jazz. Our class tree planting was scheduled on my birthday, so I got to spend it planting two seedlings at Biak-na-Bato National Park and singing High School Musical songs off key on the bus trip back home. It felt good giving back to Mother Earth. (I feel so eco-friendly right now.) It was a miracle didn't trip on the trek on the way there. I'll update this post soon with the pictures, they're still with my classmates.
I was flooded with birthday greetings from Twitter, Facebook, and especially Tumblr. I'd like to thank everyone who greeted me, they really brought a smile to my face. It almost made me forget about the stress that school brought, emphasis on the almost.
As I've stated earlier, I still don't feel "thirteen". I honestly still feel like a twelve-year-old with the maturity of a six-year-old. These thirteen years of my life have been great so far and I hope they continue in their greatness.
By the way, Lorde's new song Team just came out yesterday and I've been listening to it on repeat for a couple of hours or so. It's beautiful oh my god.
